Pillars of Hope 2022
Our annual event to raise funds to conquer pancreatic cancer was a huge success! A massive thank you to all of you who contributed in anyway, you have all made a big difference in the Purple Pansies fight to end pancreatic cancer.
OH WHAT A NIGHT! With our theme of ‘Building Bridges’, one and all crossed our Monet inspired bridge to enter the event. During the lively cocktail hour, all of the silent auction items were on display and with the wonderful jazz band playing in the background, we marveled at the frantic bidding wars that began. All then found their tables in the main ballroom, to enjoy the delectable dinner. Each course was complemented by a wine pairing with sommeliers on hand to provide key insights. As the evening progressed and the open bar continued, attendees were both entertained and moved by our Emcee the incomparable Dave Price. Maria rallied us all with her passionate mission statement and moving presentations and the live auction had everyone on their feet. The evening concluded with our Bill Palmer award, presented this year to the amazing Howard Young, a 20 year survivor. See below just a handful of the many memorable moments we shared.
