Randy Pausch was a pioneer in virtual reality research and an inspirational professor at Carnegie Mellon University but it was this lecture that had impact around the world. Randy delivered his lecture “Achieving Your Childhood Dreams” only a month after doctors told him he had three to six months to live. Through the original lecture and a book version co-written with Jeff Zaslow his message has inspired millions around the world. Randy passed away July 25, 2008.
